Peace train

Now I’ve been happy lately

 thinking about the good things to come

And I believe it could be

 something good has begun

Oh I’ve been smiling lately

 dreaming about the world as one

 some day it’s going to come

این اواخر شاد و خوشحال بوده ام

و به فکر اتفاقات خوشی که خواهد افتاد

و ایمان دارم که چنین خواهد بود.

اتفاقات خوشی شروع شده است!

این اواخر خوش و خندان بوده ام.

در رویای دنیای واحد و یگانه

و ایمان دارم که چنین خواهد بود!

روزی فرا خواهد رسید!

چشم های تو راز جهان را با خود دارند

و همچون شبی بی انتها

من تمام شادی ها ،اضطراب ها ،

تمامی خنده ها و گریه های جهان را در آنها می بینم

These crystal snow drops
Look like butterflies of sadness
Which fall down
Bewildered and tired
I approach the window
And look from behind the window-pane;
A chronic sadness stings my heart
Where can I search in this ruin
To find you there,
So that your kind eyes
Can erase my woes

رویا
این دانه های بلور برف انگار پروانه های اندوهند
که سرگردان و خسته سقوط می کنند
کنار پنجره می آیم
و از پشت شیشه نگاه می کنم
غمی دیرین بر دلم نشتر می زند
در کجای این ویرانکده پرسه بزنم
که تو آنجا باشی
و چشم های مهربانت،غمهای مرا بزدایند

After morning prayer at the corner of bund, I fell on the ground. No sooner had I my tired eyes still half-opened, an explosion voice surprised me. The guys went running to entrench behind the bounds, saying:”we are in an ambush…”

The enemy forces where rapidly advancing towards us. Gradually a grip on us was being tightened.

On one hand, our forces were very tired and needed to rest. On the other, our connection with our forces had been cut off and they did not have any weapon other than light guns.

پس از نماز صبح در گوشه ای از خاکریز ،خود را رها کردم و هنوز چشمان خسته ام نیمه باز بود که صدای انفجاری غافلگیرم کرد.بچه ها به سرعت در پشت خاکریزها سنگر گرفتند و گفتند:ما کمین خورده ایم…  .نیروهای زرهی دشمن در حال نزدیک شدن بودند.حلقه محاصره لحظه به لحظه تنگ تر می شد.

از یک سو نیروهای ما خسته بودند و به استراحت نیاز داشتند و از سوی دیگر ،ارتباط ما با نیروهای خودی قطع شده بود و غیر از سلاح های سبک مانند کلاشینکف،و آر پی چی اسلحه دیگری نداشتند.

If you put a buzzard in a pen six or eight feet square and entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of his ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of ten or twelve feet. Without space to run, as is his habit, he will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail with no top.

اگر پرنده باز را در فضایی به مساحت شش یا هشت فوت مربع قرار دهید،و قسمت بالای آن را به طور کامل  باز نگه دارید ،پرنده علیرغم توانایی اش در پرواز کردن ،مثل یک زندانی عاجز می ماند.دلیلش این است که باز همیشه پرواز را از ارتفاع  ده یا دوازده فوت آغاز می کند.بدون فضای کافی برای اوج گرفتن،که عادتش است،نمی تواند تلاشی برای پرواز کند و یک زندانی در زندان کوچک بدون سر(سقف) باقی می ماند.

Standing in front of the sun
He stared with loving eyes
Into the sun’s bright eyes
The sun grow ashamed
At the warmth of those green eyes
And melt
And fell drop by drop
Then the sun murmured to itself:
“I wish in my breast a flame of love
Even a faint one could be kindled too”

در برابر خورشید ایستاد
و چشم های عاشق خود را
در چشم های روشن خورشید دوخت
خورشید از حرارت چشمان سبز او شرمنده گشت
و آب شد و قطره قطره چکید
و آنگاه ، خورشید
با خویشتن به زمزمه گفت:
ای کاش در درون سینه من نیز
یک شعله هر چند خرد
از عشق می دمید

اگه تو قراره قبل از من بمیری،سوال کن میتونی یه دوست رو با خودت بیاری.اگه قراره صد سال زنده باشی من می خوام یه روز کمتر از صد سال زندگی کنم،چون من هرگز نمی تونم بدون تو زندگی کنم.

Friends are God’s way of taking care of us.

دوستان، روشی الهی برای محافظت از ما هستن

True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known

until it is lost. A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.

دوستی واقعی مثل سلامتیه.ارزش اونو وقتی می فهمیم که از دستش میدیم. یک دوست واقعی اونی هستش که وقتی میاد که تموم دنیا از پیشت رفتن.

Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend.

از جلو سرم نرو، شاید نتونم دنبالت بیام. از پشت سرم گام برندار؛شاید نتونم رهرو خوبی باشم. کنارم راه بیا و دوستم باش.

Muslim

1- Ramadan, the ninth month of the Muslim calendar, is a mandatory fasting period that commemorates the period when the Qur’an was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad.

2- Various Muslim customs recommend days and periods of fasting in addition to Ramadan. Abstain from food, drink, smoking, profane language, and sexual intercourse from before the break of dawn until sunset for the entire month.

3- Some Muslims fast every Monday (some say Thursday) because Prophet Muhammad was said to do this, and some fast during the month of Sha’baan, which precedes Ramadan, and especially during the three days leading up to Ramadan.

مسلمان

1-رمضان، ماه نهم تقویم مسلمانان،دوره روزه گرفتن واجب است که خاطره زمانی که قرآن برای نخستین بار به پیامبر اسلام حضرت محمد –صلی الله علیه و آله- نازل شد، را زنده میکند

2-سنت مسلمانان مختلف ،علاوه بر روزه داری در ماه رمضان،پرهیز از خوردن و آشامیدن ،سیگار کشیدن،بی حرمتی های زبانی،و روابط جنسی قبل از افطار کردن و غروب خورشید در تمام طول ماه

3-برخی مسلمانان هر دوشنبه (برخی ها پنجشنبه)روزه میگیرند به دلیل توصیه رسول اکرم برای انجام این کار،و برخی در ماه شعبان روزه میگیرند که قبل از رمضان است و مخصوصا در سه روزی که منتهی به ماه مبارک رمضان میشود

Baha’i

1- The Baha’i fast takes place during Ala, the 19th month of the Baha’í year, from March 2-20.

2- Abstain from food and drink from sunrise to sunset.

3- To focus on love of God and spiritual matters.

بهایی

1- روزه بهایی ها در نوزدهمین نوزدهم ماه آلا”ماه بهایی ها”- از دوم تا بیستم مارس- است

2-پرهیز از غذا خوردن از طلوع خورشید تا غروب

3-برای متمرکز کردن عشق شان به خدا و امور معنوی

Buddhist

1- All the main branches of Buddhism practice some periods of fasting, usually on full-moon days and other holidays.

2- Depending on the Buddhist tradition, fasting usually means abstaining from solid food, with some liquids permitted.

3- A method of purification. Theravadin and Tendai Buddhist monks fast as a means of freeing the mind. Some Tibetan Buddhist monks fast to aid yogic feats, like generating inner heat.

بودایی

1-تمام شاخه های مذهب بودائیسم به تمرین روزه می پردازند،معمولا در روزهایی که ماه کامل است(شب چهاردهم) و دیگر تعطیلات

2-با توجه به سنت بودایی ها،روزه گرفتن معمولا به معنای پرهیز از غذاهای خشک با چند نوشیدنی است

3-روشی برای تصفیه.بودایی هایTravadin و Tendai برای آزادی فکرروزه میگیرند.بعضی از بودایی های Tibeatn برای کمک به عمل تمرکز مثل ایجاد احساس درونی روزه میگیرند.
