The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is marked worldwide as the International Qods Day.

Every year, Muslims from across the world commemorate this day and stage rallies in support of Palestinians, calling for the liberation of Beit-ul-Moqaddas from the yoke of the Zionist regime.

آخرین جمعه ماه رمضان در سراسر جهان به عنوان روز بین المللی قدس شناخته شده است
هر سال، مسلمانان سراسر جهان ، با بزرگداشت این روز و تظاهرات در حمایت از فلسطینیان -  آزادی بیت المقدس از یوغ رژیم صهیونیستی را خواستار می شوند.

Imam Khomeini, the architect of Islamic Revolution, raised the idea of observing the International Qods Day one year after the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Ever since, on this day, Muslims and even non-Muslims rally in defense of the rights of Palestinians.

امام خمینی ، بینانگذار انقلاب اسلامی ، یک سال پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی در سال 1979، این ایده را مطرح کردند . از آن زمان در این روز مسلمانان و غیر مسلمانان در حمایت از حقوق فلسطینیان راه پیمایی می کنند

Since the early years of the occupation of Beit-ul-Moqaddas, Palestinians, other Muslims and the freedom-seeking people have joined the drive for confronting Israel and supporting Palestine.

از نخستین سالهای اشغال بیت المقدس، فلسطینیان، دیگر مسلمانان و مردم آزادیخواه برای مقابله با رژیم صهیونیستی و حمایت فلسطین متحد شدند.

Inception

With the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Muslim Iranian nation, especially after Imam Khomeini’s historical message about marking the International Qods Day, prioritized the issue of liberating Palestine from Zionist occupiers.

با پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی، مسلمانان ایران، مخصوصا بعد از پیام تاریخی امام خمینی مبنی بر اعلام روز جهانی قدس، آزادی فلسطینیان از دست اشغالگران اسرائیلی را در اولویت قرار دادند.

In his historical message, Imam Khomeini said, “Throughout the years, I have warned Muslims about the threats posed by the Israeli occupying regime … I want all Muslims of the world and Islamic governments to join hands to confront this occupier and its supporters. I hereby invite Muslims worldwide to observe the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, which is one of the grand nights and which can also determine the fate of Palestinians, as the International Qods Day and in a ceremony declare the global solidarity of Muslims in upholding the legitimate rights of Muslim people.”

امام خمینی (رحمة الله علیه) در پیام تاریخی خودشان گفتند: ” «من در طی ساليان دراز، خطر اسرائيل غاصب را گوشزد مسلمين نمودم… من از عموم مسلمانان جهان و دولت‌های اسلامی می‌خواهم كه برای كوتاه كردن دست اين غاصب و پشتيبانان آن به هم بپيوندند و جميع مسلمانان جهان را دعوت می‌كنم، آخرين جمعه‌ ماه مبارك رمضان را كه از ايام قدر است و می‌تواند تعيين كننده سرنوشت مردم فلسطين نيز باشد، به عنوان روز قدس انتخاب و طی مراسمی همبستگی بين‌المللی مسلمانان را در حمايت از حقوق قانونی مردم مسلمان اعلام نمايند، از خداوند متعال پيروزی مسلمانان را بر اهل كفر خواستارم.”

By declaring the International Qods Day, Imam Khomeini cautioned all Muslims, irrespective of their sects, nationalities and languages, about confronting Israel and defending the rights of oppressed Palestinians as their Islamic duty.“Supporting the Zionist regime is tantamount to betraying Islam,” he said.

 

امام راحل با نام گذاری روز قدس، مبارزه با اسرائیل و دفاع از حقوق ملت مظلوم فلسطین را به عنوان تکلیفی اسلامی به همه مسلمانان از فرقه ها و ملیت ها و زبان های گوناگون گوشزد کرد .ایشان اعلام کردند: ” حمایت از اسرائیل، خیانت به اسلام است”.

The International Qods Day also highlights the Islamic and spiritual aspects of the Palestinian dilemma. In other words, the Palestinian problem is not limited to the occupation of just land, but rather it is the symbolic confrontation of world arrogant powers with the Muslim world.

روز جهانی قدس همچنین نمایانگر جنبه های اسلامی و معنوی از معضل فلسطین است. به عبارت دیگر، مسئله فلسطین تنها به اشغال یک سرزمین محدود نمی شود بلکه رویارویی نمادین  قدرتهای استکباری جهان با جهان اسلام است.

Imam Khomeini understood this issue and put forth the notion of International Qods Day to attract the attention of Muslim world vis-à-vis the significance of the Palestinian cause.

امام خمینی (ره) با درک این موضوع ، ایده روز جهانی قدس را مطرح کردند تا توجه جهان اسلام را در به اهمیت مسأله فلسطین جلب کنند.

 Muslim Duty

Before Imam Khomeini raised this issue, the entire Muslim world had distanced itself from the Palestinian issue and Imam Khomeini actually convinced Muslims worldwide to uphold this issue by proposing the concept of International Qods Day.

وظیفه مسلمانان:

قبل از اینکه امام خمینی (ره) این موضوع را مطرح کنند، تمام مسلمانان جهان خود را از مسأله فلسطین دور می دانستند  و در واقع ،امام خمینی(ره) با پیشنهاد روز جهانی قدس، مردم سراسر جهان را به حمایت از این موضوع متقاعد کردند.

In fact, the participation of each and every Muslim in the International Qods Day rallies is indicative of the opposition of Muslims to the machinations of world arrogant powers and their support for the oppressed worldwide and those who struggle for the establishment of freedom and justice-seeking Islamic ideals.

در حقیقت، مشارکت هر مسلمان در تظاهرات روز جهانی قدس ، نشان دهنده مخالفت مسلمانان به دسیسه قدرتهای زورگوی جهان و حمایتشان از مظلومین سراسر جهان و کسانی که برای استقرار آزادی و عدالت آرمانهای اسلامی است است.

It should not be doubted that Muslim unity, especially under the present circumstances, is an undeniable exigency. And the Palestinian cause is key to forging Muslim solidarity.

 بدون تردید ، وحدت مسلمانان به ویژه در شرایط فعلی، یک ضرورت غیر قابل انکار است و مسأله فلسطین کلید جعل همبستگی مسلمانان است.

At present, the International Qods Day is viewed from a different angle, as every right-minded person believes the negligence of Palestinian liberation, at the heart of the Muslim world, can strike a strong blow to the Muslim Ummah.

در حال حاضر، روز جهانی قدس از زوایای مختلف مورد توجه است  که هر انسان درست اندیشی معتقد است غفلت از موضوع آزادسازی فلسطین-  در قلب جهان اسلام- میتواند ضربه ای قوی باشد بر پیکره امت اسلامی.

Hence, it is the duty of all Muslims worldwide to commemorate this great day, which today marks the global drive to confront all oppressors.

از این رو،این وظیفه تمام مسلمانان جهان است که این روز بزرگ را زنده نگاه دارند که امروزه نشان جهانی است برای مقابله با ستمگران.

At a time when Israel threatens the entire Middle East and Muslim territories, unity over the Palestinian issue and confronting Israel’s aggressive and expansionist nature will enhance the glory of Islam and Muslims.

در زمانی که اسرائیل ،کل خاورمیانه و سرزمین های مسلمان را تهدید می کند، وحدت درمورد مسأله فلسطین و مقابله با ماهیت تهاجمی و توسعه طلبانه اسرائیل، شکوه و عظمت اسلام و مسلمانان را بالا خواهد برد.

Today, the International Qods Day is more important than in the past, as waves of Islamic awakening are sweeping over the Middle East. All Muslims of the world are hopeful that in the wake of regional uprisings and the collapse of regional dictators, Beit-ul-Moqadas will soon be liberated from the occupation of Zionists and Palestinian refugees can return to their motherland.

امروز، روز جهانی قدس نسبت به گذشته از اهمیت بیشتری برخوردار است که  امواج بیداری اسلامی در تمام خاور میانه در حال حرکت است. تمام مسلمانان جهان امیدوار هستند که در پی شورش های منطقه ای و سقوط دیکتاتورهای منطقه ای،بیت المقدس به زودی از اشغال صهیونیست ها آزاد خواهد شد و پناهندگان فلسطینی به سرزمین مادری خود بازگشت.
