THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA

This is the only entry on the Seven Wonders list that still survives. It was erected in the ancient city of Giza, which is now part of Cairo, Egypt. It is commonly believed that this entry refers to all the pyramids, however, only the Great Pyramid of Khofu is considered one of the Seven Wonders. This structure was built by Egyptian pharoah Khofu (Cheops) as a final resting place. Today, this pyramid is enclosed in a region of the Giza plateau along with the other pyramids and The Sphinx, in a general tourist area.

When built, this pyramid was approximately 480 feet high. Over the years, about thirty feet have eroded from the top. This pyramid took over two million blocks of stone, each weighing over two tons, to construct. Inside the pyramid is a complicated maze of corridors and shafts leading to and from the burial chamber.

Theories abound that the pyramids were constructed as observatories or temples of worship. However, the overriding conclusion is that all of the pyramids were constructed as tombs for Egyptian kings and their families to rest until their journey into the afterlife.

هرم بزرگ گیزا

این تنها عجایب هفت گانه جهان است که هنوز پابرجاست.این بنا در شهر باستانی گیزا،که اکنون بخشی از قاهره مصر است،بنا شد.به طور کلی، عقیده بر این است که در این نام که به تمام اهرام اشاره دارد، تنها هرم بزرگ خوفو، به عنوان یکی از عجایب هفت گانه نامبرده شده است.این بنا توسط خوفو، فرعون مصر ، به عنوان آرامگاه ابدی اش ساخته شد.امروزه، این هرم در منطقه بزرگی از فلات گزا توسط اهرام دیگر و مجسمه ابوالهول و در یک منطقه کامل توریستی احاطه شده است.زمانی که این هرم ساخته شد ، به طور تقریبی 480 فوت ارتفاع داشت.در طول سالیان ،حدود 30 فوت از بالای این هرم تحلیل رفت. این هرم از دو میلیون تکه سنگ تشکیل شد،که هر کدام شامل دو تن هستند.درون هرم دالانها و تونلهای گیج کننده زیادی وجود دارد که به حفره های محل دفن منتهی می شد.نظریات فراوانی است که اهرام به عنوان رصد خانه یا معبدهای پرستش ساخته شدند.ولیکن، نتیجه اصلی این است که این اهرام بعنوان مقبره هایی برای پادشاهان مصر و خانواده شان بعنوان استراحتگاه دائمی بعد از مرگشان ساخته شده بود

A man checked into a hotel. There was a computer in his room* so he decided to send an e-mail to his wife. However* he accidentally typed a wrong e-mail address* and without realizing his error he sent the e-mail.

Meanwhile….Somewhere in Houston * a widow had just returned from her husband’s funeral. The widow decided to check her e-mail* expecting condolence messages from relatives and friends.After reading the first message* she fainted. The widow’s son rushed into the room* found his mother on the floor* and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I’ve Reached
Date: 2 May 2006

 I know you’re surprised to hear from me. They have computers here* and we are allowed to send e-mails to loved ones. I’ve just reached and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you TOMORROW!
Your loving hubby.

مردی اتاق هتلی را تحویل گرفت .در اتاقش کامپیوتری بود،بنابراین تصمیم گرفت ایمیلی به همسرش بفرستد.ولی بطور تصادفی ایمیل را به آدرس اشتباه فرستاد و بدون اینکه متوجه اشتباهش شود،ایمیل را فرستاد.

با این وجود..جایی در هوستون ،بیوه ای از مراسم خاکسپاری شوهرش بازگشته بود.زن بیوه تصمیم گرفت ایمیلش را به این خاطر که پیامهای همدردی اقوام و دوستانش را بخواند،چک کند. پس از خواندن اولین پیام،از هوش رفت.پسرش به اتاق آمد و مادرش را کف اتاق دید و از صفحه کامپیوتر این را خواند:

به: همسر دوست داشتنی ام

موضوع: من رسیدم

تاریخ: دوم می 2006

میدانم از اینکه خبری از من داشته باشی خوشحال می شوی.آنها اینجا کامپیوتر داشتند و ما اجازه داریم به آنهایی که دوستشان داریم ایمیل بدهیم.من تازه رسیدم و اتاق را تحویل گرفته ام.می بینم که همه چیز آماده شده که فردا برسی.به امید دیدنت، فردا

Bad Temper

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.

زمانی ،پسربچه ای بود که رفتار بدی داشت.پدرش به او کیفی پر از میخ داد و گفت هرگاه  رفتار بدی انجام داد،باید میخی را به دیوار فروکند.

روز اول پسربچه،37 میخ وارد دیوارکرد.در طول هفته های بعد،وقتی یادگرفت بر رفتارش کنترل کند،تعداد میخ هایی که به دیوار میکوبید به تدریج کمتر شد.

“I have not created the jinn and humankind for any other purpose except that they should worship Me.” (Al-Qur’an 51:56)

It is clear from this verse that the purpose of your birth and of your life is no other than that of the worship of Allah. Now you can well imagine how much necessary it is for you to know the meaning of ‘Ibadat. If you will not know the real meaning of this word you will not be able to fulfil the very purpose for which you have been created. And anything which does not fulfil its purpose results in fiasco. If a doctor cannot restore health to his patient, he is said to have failed in his profession. If a farmer cannot raise a good crop, he is said to have failed in cultivation. Similarly, if you have not been able to fulfil the real purpose of your life, i.e. ‘Ibadat, it should be said that your whole life has been a failure. For this reason I want you all to hear and understand with full attention the meaning of ‘Ibadat’ and preserve it in mind because on it depends the success or failure of your life.

عبادت

“جن و انس را خلق نکردم مگر برای عبادت و پرستش من” قرآن کریم”

از این آیه بر می آید که هدف خلقت و زندگی ما چیزی جز عبادت و پرستش خداوند نیست.اکنون می توان تصور کرد چقدر لازم است که معنی عبادت را بدانیم.اگر شما معنی واقعی این واژه را ندانید،قادر نخواهید بود هدف واقعی از خلقت خود را انجام دهید و آنچه به هدفش نرسد،جز شکست نیست.اگر دکتری نتواند سلامتی را به بیمارش برگرداند،گفته می شود او در حرفه اش شکست خورده است.اگر کشاورزی نتواند محصول خوبی پرورش دهد گفته می شود در کشاورزی شکست خورده است.همین طور ،اگر شما قادر نباشید هدف اصلی زندگی تان یعنی عبادت را انجام دهید باید گفت که تمام زندگی تان جز درماندگی و شکست نبوده است.به این دلیل،از همه شما می خواهم با تمام توجه معنی عبادت را بشنوید و درک کنید و آن را در ذهنتان نگه دارید،چون آن عامل موفقیت یا شکست زندگی تان است.

What is Hijab?

Many Muslims around the world practice hijab, which is Arabic for cover, but is extended to mean modesty and privacy. For non-Muslims, hijab is most often associated with the modest clothing that Muslim women wear. In actuality, hijab is practiced by both men and women, and includes other requirements of modest behavior. Muslims follow the rules of hijab to show their submission to and love for God.

حجاب چیست؟

بسیاری از مسلمانان در سراسر جهان حجاب را رعایت می کنند.حجاب واژه ای عربی است به معنی پوشش اما معنای این واژه گسترده آن،به معنی عفت (حجب)و پوشش است.برای غیر مسلمانان،حجاب اغلب به عنوان لباسهای باوقاری به کار می رود که زنان مسلمان می پوشند. در و اقع،حجاب را هم زنان و هم مردان به کار می برند و شامل دیگر ضرورت های رفتار متواضع نیز است .مسلمانان قانون حجاب را برای نشان دادن اطاعت و عشق شان به خداوند متعال بکار می برند.
